Due to our optional tires and advanced driveshaft, you can use the V-Move electric tugger on and off solid surfaces, off-road and in snow. Optional chains allow you to use it on ice. You can add up to 200 kg or 441 lb of counterweights so the tug weighs about 430 kg or 950 lb for the added traction to pull heavier loads. We will recommend the weight and other options you need, as part of our overall recommendations. The V-move XL, which has been manufactured for over 30 years, is designed to move and stop the loads safely and without any effort from the user.
This V-Move industrial electric tugger or dumpster mover uses the latest Curtis CAN-bus computer controller, top-quality deep-cycle maintenance-free batteries, and a water and dust-proof UL/CSA-approved charger. It's a two 12-volt battery system that can easily do a task like moving dumpster bins in and out over long distances and only need charging once every week to three weeks, depending on use. We have optional larger capacity batteries and LiFePO4 for our XL electric tugger to allow you to run longer times if needed in an industrial or airport setting. The one-piece heavy-duty welded steel frame is powder-coated inside and out. With the optional tilting handle, the V-Move XL electric tug has one of the smallest footprints of any walk-along tug, at 38", allowing you to get into tight spots to get at loads.
The V-Move XL electric tugger can be used to push and pull any loads on wheels or rails such as waste bins, compactors, concession trailers, buses, trucks, cars, industrial rolls, boats, trailers, carts, etc. The XL series of V-Move tugs is the oldest walk-along tug at over 30+ years and those original XL tugs are still being used today by customers.
