The V-Move 4XL walk-along heavy-duty industrial electric heavy load mover is our premium top-of-the-line tug that is ideal for moving loads up to 88,185 lb or 40 MT and lifting loads up to 15,432 lb or 7 MT.
When using maximum counterweights, the 4XL has been known to move loads up to 80 MT or 176,000 lb and up to 450 MT or 1,000,000 lb when on rails. However, the engineers don’t recommend those extremes and will recommend lower limits to ensure you can stop safely and fast. We feel more comfortable with an upper limit of about 525,000 lb when pulling/pushing a load on rails. Get the job done fast and safely at up to 3.7 mph or 6 km/hr.

The V-Move 4XL has maintenance-free AC motors and is designed to move and stop the loads safely and without any effort from the user. An AC motor has advantages over a DC motor such as lower total cost of ownership, flatter torque curve, and smooth acceleration and de-acceleration. Due to our dual drive motor design and top quality and highly rated tires, this V-Move heavy-duty industrial tug has maximum traction. When properly equipped, you can use the standard tires in the snow with caution to move heavy loads. See our tire and wheel page for advice on winter usage. Where ever you can drive a hard-wheeled forklift, you can drive the V-move 4XL. This is the 2nd most powerful walk-along load mover after our V-move 40T.
This V-Move tug uses the latest Curtis CAN-bus computer controller, a flooded cell battery for up to 8 hours run time, a UL/CSA approved charger and almost all components are European-made. With the included tilting handle, the 4XL has a reduced footprint allowing you to get into tighter spots to get at loads.
Our 4XL heavy-duty industrial tugs have the option to use a high capacity Lithium-iron Phosphate battery pack and we also have optional super-fast opportunity chargers. Our standard and optional batteries for the 4XL allow for opportunity charging and fast charging.
